MARIUS COINS
M. Aurelius Marius, was the fourth of the usurpers who in succession ruled Gaul, in defiance Gallienus. He reigned only two or three days, but there are coins of his extant.
Gold Aureus - Marius
Obverse: IMP C M AVR MARIVS P F AVG, Laureate and cuirassed bust of Marius to right, with slight drapery on far shoulder.
Reverse: CONCORDIA MILITVM, Clasped hands.
