CARINUS AND NUMERIANUS COINS
On the death of their father Carus, Carinus and Numerianus suceeded to the empire. In 284, Numerianus was slain, and Carinus marched into Moesia to oppose Diocletian who had been proclaimed Emperor and gained the victory.
