CONSTANTIUS II COINS

Constantius, third son of Constantine the Great by his second wife Fausta. On the death of his father in 337, he received the East as his share of the empire. Upon his accession he became involved in a serious war with the Persians. This war prevented him from taking any part in the struggle between his brothers Constantine and Constans. He died on his march to Cilicia, 362.
