EUGENIUS COINS
Eugenius was given the purple by Arbogastes on August 22nd, 392. Theodosius refused to countenance the rule of a barbarian general through a puppet emperor, and in 394 he marched into Italy and defeated his adversaries at the Battle on the Frigidus. Eugenius was put to death on September, 6th, 394.
